These seasonal presentations each end with a very ‘lively quiz’, which always prove hugely popular with both children and staff alike!
Both Schools' Weeks events are always popular with the local Primary schools and consequently are always booked up extremely quickly, so to avoid disappointment early booking is strongly recommended.

Schools Week
Drama and Workshops
LCSWT partners with Wade Street Church in Lichfield twice a year to run a ‘Schools Week’ programme encouraging the involvement of local primary schools in the interactive telling of bible stories. Using creative presentations that depict both the Easter and Christmas festivals, schools are encouraged to book their one and a half hour sessions during which the children take part in an interactive drama, various workshops, and finish with a quiz.

Costumed characters (all volunteers) present both the Christmas and the Easter stories illuminating the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus. Throughout the enactments, the children are encouraged to take on various character roles connected to the stories.
After the drama the children divide into smaller groups that engage in activities across five, or six different workshops. Towards the end, questions are invited, creating discussions that go deeper into the meanings behind these two major Christian festivals.
